Dante: “Neymar is Brazil’s most important player”

In an interview granted to Goal.com, the Bayern Munich defender Dante, praised his Brazilian teammate Neymar and anticipated the new chapter in Brazil’s National Team, now under the of Dunga.

Dante: “I can only see Neymar getting better in the years to come. He has already been Brazil‘s most important player for the past couple of seasons and hopefully he’ll continue playing that role in the future”, started by commenting the 30-year old, who arrived to the Bundesliga in 2009.

After a very disappointing  World Cup this past summer, everyone was aware that it was only a matter of time until changes were brought in the managerial area. Roughly a month ago, on July 22, Dunga was re-appointed Brazil‘s new coach, replacing Luis Felipe Scolari on the job task. Dante believes he’s the right man to rebuild the spirit in the national team and all he wants now is to get another chance to prove his value.

Dante: “Dunga was the right choice for us. He’s a great coach and he has already proven he can be successful when leading Brazil in difficult competitions. Many changes are obviously going to happen after the performances we had in the World Cup, but I’m just focused in keep doing my best in Bayern Munich and by doing that, hopefully I’ll get another chance in the national team”, stated the Bavarian player.

Neymar and Barcelona will return to action for La Liga this Sunday, with the Brazilian ace being expected to finally make his first appearance in official games this season. This Villarreal vs Barcelona clash kicks off at 7PM in Spain and you can watch it on Sky Sports 5 in the UK and beIN Sports in the United States. Around the Europe, Louis Van Gaal‘s Manchester United visits Burnley as they attempt to secure their first win in the Barclays Premier League, while the big game of the day is definitely the Everton vs Chelsea match at Goodison Park.
