Neymar: “I’ve learned a lot in the last 3 or 4 years”
In the press-conference ahead of the friendly international between Brazil and Ecuador, Neymar was the man chosen to speak a few words in front of the journalists.
The Barcelona star talked briefly about the past few years of his career and how important they were for him to develop as a football player as a person.
Neymar: “A lot of stuff changed in my life over the last years. I’ve learned a lot from more experienced players in both the Brazilian National Team and in the clubs I’ve been at [Santos and FC Barcelona]. The more important is that I feel I’ve really grown a lot as a professional footballer”, remarked the 22-year old forward.
As for the changes that are currently taking course in the Brazilian National Team, Neymar defends the idea that everyone should be patient and supportive with Dunga, as well as with his new methods.
Neymar: “It’s hard to implement so many changes after having had only 1 week of practices. We must go step by step and try to adapt the best we can to a new coach and his new methods. We have to listen to him, ask him questions and improve our performances on the pitch”, stated the FC Barcelona ace.
Brazil will meet Ecuador this Tuesday night in New Jersey (United States), in the last round of friendlies scheduled for this week. Next Saturday, the action already returns to La Liga, with Barcelona hosting Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou.
